Who we are

Leicester Community Links CIC is a registered community interest company, a not-for-profit organization located in Leicester's heart of the Belgrave area. As a community-centric organisation, our focus extends to serve the entirety of Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland, spearheading various well-being projects designed to enrich our community and improve the quality of life for all its members.

Our mission is to deliver projects in collaboration with local partners and communities. Our focus is on providing practical advice and support concerning both physical and mental wellbeing. We believe in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where every individual can feel valued, safe, and nurtured.

What We Do

At Leicester Community Links CIC, we are dedicated to:

Promoting Wellbeing:

Our activities and programs are designed to promote and enhance the mental and physical well-being of the people in our community. We strive to create an atmosphere of health and positivity.

Educational Initiatives:

We provide practical advice and support, empowering individuals with the knowledge they need to improve their health and well-being.

Partnering with Local Entities:

We believe in the power of unity and partnership. We work hand in hand with local partners and communities, fostering relationships that help us make a more significant impact.

Community Development:

Our projects and initiatives are aimed at community development, working towards a stronger, healthier, and more connected Leicester.

Our Milestones

As of March 2023 our organisation has completed 3 years of delivering successful wellbeing projects to communities in Leicester.. It has demonstrated a high success rate in securing funding through successful applications. So far, the project has been awarded over £60,000 in funding during these past three years.

Staff Achievement

Our Volunteer Jasu was recognized for her outstanding community volunteering and awarded a Kings Charles 3rd Coronation Champion award in recognition.

 

I have been successfully running a community organisation now for 3years which has been recognised for its well being projects and established  excellent  working relations with LCC Public departments and the Police Service.
